Rodney Loone, WHK Garrotts
Having worked with WHK Garrotts for over 30 years, Rodney has been instrumental in bringing together the various WHK firms across Tasmania. Rodney has a strong commercial background in advising clients in tourism, forestry, primary industry and professional services.
In his current role as Chief Executive he is responsible for overseeing the growth and development of WHK in Tasmania.
His personal interests include spending time with family and friends, fishing, scuba diving, bush walking and cycling.
Robert Eastoe, WHK Garrotts
Robert began his career at Garrott & Garrott Accountants in 1977, today known as WHK Garrotts. In 1992 he was admitted as a full partner and a Principal of the firm. He is a Chartered Accountant as well as being a Certified Practicing Accountant, holding the Status of Fellow of CPA Australia and also has a Bachelor of Business Degree (Accounting) from the Tasmanian College of Advanced Education.
Robert is Principal of the Business Services division with particular expertise in SME's who are involved in such fields as civil contracting, transport, hospitality, retail, thoroughbred breeding and racing
Dallas Frost, WHK Garrotts
Dallas was appointed as a Business Services Principal in 2004 after 10 years with the firm. He completed his Commerce Degree at the University of Tasmania and continued on to obtain his CA Qualification in 1999.
Dallas enjoys working a diverse range of clients across all industries including Agriculture, Retail and Tourism. He has always shown a particular interest in the Forest and transport industries. This resulted in Dallas developing specialised cost and profit analysis tools for these industries. Dallas conducts specialist seminars and has thoroughly enjoyed building up this side of the business as a part of his overall mix of clients.
Anthony Loone, WHK Garrotts
Anthony is a Business Services Principal and the Staff Principal at WHK Garrotts. CA qualified, Anthony spent the first five years of his career working in Melbourne before returning to Tasmania in 1993 to further his accounting career with Garrotts.
Since becoming a partner in 1999, Anthony has worked with a diverse range of clients from small family businesses to large manufacturing organisations, with particluar emphasis on assisting clients with taxation planning, and both business and client wealth development strategies.
He has played a key role in developing the people initiatives of the firm and ensuring their effective implementation over many years and is heavily involved in all HR activities. Rob Watson is a Chartered Accountant and has been a Principal of the firm since October 2004. He has over 12 years experience in public accounting providing taxation and business advice to a diverse client base. Over the past five years he has also specialised in Superannuation and heads up the firm's Self Managed Superannuation division. Rob is also a member of the Superannuation Professionals Association of Australia.
Ian Wright, Audit & WHK Garrotts
Ian has been involved with public practice accounting all his working life. Commencing his career with Coopers & Lybrand in Launceston in 1979. Where he worked as an auditor and a senior taxation advisor in their Launceston, Hobart and Melbourne offices before joining Garrotts in 1992.
A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia since 1983, Ian in conjunction with his accounting and taxation role, is the Principal responsible for all of the firm's audit practice.
With an extensive level of experience accquired over many years, Ian is well equiped to provide accounting and assurance services to a varied range of industry sectors.
Ian has been very active in the Launceston community over the years through his role on various community boards.
